The Center’s Arts Teach program presents a roster of professional artists in music, dance, theater and the visual arts from around the globe who specialize in assemblies, workshops, and residencies.

Whether in-person or through distance learning, these enriching arts-in-education programs provide the wonder and excitement of live performances and hands-on activities to schools and community organizations in Southern California.

There are four virtual experiences to choose from:

Pre-Recorded Assembly: experience the thrill of a live performance with one of our world class artists. Explore new cultures, raise bullying awareness, relive history, and much more through these 45-minute performances

Live Virtual Assembly: Some artists have developed live shows you can watch in a virtual classroom setting.

Virtual Workshops: These sessions of up to 60 minutes with your virtual classroom are an introductory and hands-on experience led by a master teaching artist. Workshops can complement classroom curriculum, teach new skills, and spark student creativity or even be used as professional development for adults.

Virtual Residencies: In a series of sessions with your virtual classroom, immerse yourself in an art form with a master teaching artist over the course of several weeks. With multiple live sessions taught by the artist of your choice, you can take your experience to the next level and customize it to fit your specific goals and budget.
