Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents Segerstrom Center Film Camp, a weeklong summer session where a new generation of filmmakers gain valuable hands-on movie making experience. Created in collaboration with Ted Schilowitz, co-founder of RED Digital Cinema and creator of Camp RED, students will work in small teams and use the same state-of-the-art equipment employed today to create today’s top blockbuster, television shows, commercials and music videos. Segerstrom Center Film Camp will be held Monday through Friday, August 11 – 15, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m and is for students ages 9 - 17. The Camp will culminate in a special screening of the students’ projects for family, friends and industry professionals.
