Enjoy live cumbia music from El Santo Golpe, and create your own uniquely colorful crafts with materials provided by Behr Paint! We’re thrilled to welcome back Michelle Reyes AKA DJ Yellow Black Bird to the Argyros Plaza, spinning all the best cumbia vinyl.

Pod Info & Safety Precautions:
The $18 ticket price for this event includes one socially-distanced viewing area (or “pod”), with seating for up to 6 viewers. Only you and those attending with you will be seated in your assigned pod. All supplies required to participate in Rock, Paper, Scissors: CUMBIA! will be located at each pod.

Please note that the following safety precautions will be in place for this event:
Masks must be worn by all guests upon check-in and until they arrive to their assigned viewing areas. Each viewing area will be separated by 6 feet of space from neighboring viewing areas. Contactless check-in will include a touchless thermometer temperature check, and hand sanitizer stations will be accessible throughout the Plaza.

El Santo Golpe Bio:
Influenced by the many sounds and traditions from all over Latin-America, created by the Musical Diaspora over so many years, El Santo Golpe is a musical fusion where sounds, rhythms, poetry and dance can be expressed by anyone and everyone. Using traditional instrumentation like Jaranas and Tarimas (a wooden platform) from Son Jarocho (Mexico), Primero from Garifuna (Belize), Djambe from West Africa, Accordions and Tambora from Colombia, and many more, El Santo Golpe uses their music as a universal language to help close gaps between different cultures, genres, ages and beliefs, creating a world community where we all can dance, sing, laugh and forget about our daily troubles.

Influenciado por los muchos sonidos y tradiciones de toda América Latina, creado por la Diáspora Musical durante tantos años, El Santo Golpe es una fusión musical donde los sonidos, los ritmos, la poesía y la danza pueden ser expresados por todos. Usando instrumentos tradicionales como Jaranas y Tarimas (una plataforma de madera) de Son Jarocho (México), Primero de Garifuna (Belice), Djambe de África occidental, Acordeones y Tambora de Colombia, y muchos más, El Santo Golpe usa su música como un lenguaje universal para ayudar a cerrar las brechas entre diferentes culturas, géneros, edades y creencias, creando una comunidad mundial donde todos podamos bailar, cantar, reír y olvidarnos de nuestros problemas diarios.
