Make a giftPrograms for schools
Segerstrom Center offers a large variety of affordable programs in Dance, Music, Theater, and Visual Arts that can be customized to meet the needs of each unique community or event.
On Stage at the Center is a series of live performances for local students to attend during the school day as a field trip as a starting point to stimulate greater appreciation of the performing arts.
Working with professional teaching artists, your faculty will build skills necessary to produce a musical theater show starring your students. Students develop self-confidence, practice collaboration, and strengthen speaking and reading skills.
Segerstrom Center for the Arts welcomes students to take free docent-led tours and to learn about its history while exploring backstage and behind-the-scenes areas.

Summer at the Center
For over 30 years, Summer at the Center has been designed to empower high-risk high school students through active participation in a rigorous two-week program of musical theater classes conducted by professional artists. This unique, nationally recognized program was founded in conjunction with the late Dr. Maurice Allard, who believed in the power of the performing arts as a critical and authentic means to developing self-esteem and building confidence. This extraordinary program continues using the same basic model, achieving its original goals which make a profound and memorable impact on the lives of hundreds of youth in our community.
