Segerstrom Center for the Arts (“SCFTA”), is a non-profit organization, dedicated to the presentation of a wide variety of significant national and international productions of music, dance and theater to the people of Southern California. We believe that transparency is important and understand that you care about your privacy interests. This privacy notice describes Segerstrom Center for the Arts' policies and practices regarding the collection and use of your personal data and sets forth your privacy rights. Because information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, we will update this privacy notice from time to time as we implement or adopt new privacy policies.

Summary
Segerstrom Center for the Arts collects personal information about its members, donors, customers, and visitors to our Site. Most often, this information is related to general contact information like your name, address, telephone number, email address, as well as general details of your purchase or contribution. We use this information to provide you with the goods and services you request. We do not sell your personal information to anyone, but sometimes share it with third parties who are facilitating our services.
Some of the personal data we request from you is required in order for you to use our Sites, including ordering products and/or services through them. If you do not wish to provide such personal data to us, you are not obligated to, but you may not be able to use a particular feature of our Sites, including ordering products, or tickets, as a result.

The Personal Information You Give to Us:
Creating an Account: When you create an account with us, we collect information about you including (but not limited to) your name, address, telephone number and your email address. For security purposes, we also require that you create a secure password. We process this information to give you access to our My Account features that allow you to update your contact information, renew your membership or season tickets and get personalized show recommendations. We also use your address to help verify purchases associated with your billing accounts. Account holders may possibly edit certain details in their profile to change, add, or remove personal information.
Processing a Financial Transaction: When you purchase tickets or other goods offered, make a donation, or authorize any other type of financial transaction, we process your contact information as well as your billing address and billing account information. We use this information for processing your orders. For security purposes billing info is encrypted and stored in a secure system. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Your Correspondence with Us: If you correspond with us by email, the postal service, or other form of communication, we may retain such correspondence and the information contained in it and use it to respond to your inquiry; to notify you of events, publications, or other services; or to keep a record of your complaint, and accommodation request. Note: if you ask us not to contact you by email at a certain email address, we will retain a copy of that email address on its “master do not send” list in order to comply with your no-contact request.
Customer Service Communications: We offer a live chat feature to help provide you with the best customer service we can offer. If you choose to use this feature, we may collect specific information about you necessary to communicate with you and respond to your customer services requests. When you call one of our customer service representatives, or e-mail us with a comment or question, you may be asked for information that identifies you, such as your name, mailing address, order number, postal code and/or telephone number, to help us promptly answer your question. We retain this information as necessary to assist you in the future, for instance with any further queries you may have. We also use your feedback, suggestions and comments to monitor and/or improve our publications, product offerings, and services, among other things.
Filling Out a Form Online: When you fill out a form or submit information to us via our Site, we collect any personal information you provide to us and use it for the purposes of fulfilling the request or purpose of submitting the information. For example, if you fill out an Event Rental Request form, we process your personal information to evaluate your request and to contact you with additional information.
Collection from Third Parties: On occasion we receive personal information about individuals from third parties. This may happen if a corporate partner provides the names of its employees. Additionally, we may receive your personal information from third parties based on your interest in organizations similar to ours. If we send you marketing communications based on this information, you have the right to opt-out.
Promotions or Surveys: When you enter a contest or sweepstakes ("promotion") or participate in a survey or poll ("survey") we may ask you to provide your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. Sometimes we use third-party services to administer and administer and conduct our promotions, so if you use those services when participating in a promotion the policies, including privacy notices, of those third-parties will apply in addition to ours. We use the information we collect on promotion entry forms to administer your participation in the promotions and for other purposes stated on the entry form. Our surveys ask for opinions on various issues and may be sponsored by our advertisers and partners. Information obtained through surveys is aggregated and used internally. We also share survey information with advertisers and marketing partners in an aggregated form that does not personally identify you. In the event personal information is requested as part of a survey, such personal information will only be provided to unaffiliated third parties after ensuring that depending on the circumstances you have either consented or not objected.
Website Information: We collect the IP (Internet protocol) addresses of all visitors to our Sites and clickstream and other related information, such as information about your computer or device, web browser and operating system and their settings, the referring page that linked you to our site, the pages, content or ads you see or click on during your visit and when and for how long you do so, items you download, the next website you visit when you leave our site, and any search terms you have entered on our site (“Technical Data”). We use this information to monitor and improve our website, products, and services.
When we collect data that does not identify you as a natural person, we are permitted to use and disclose this information for any purpose, notwithstanding anything contrary in this privacy notice, except where prohibited by law.
3. Use of Our Sites (Automatic Data Collection)
Summary
Like most websites, ours collects certain information automatically and stores in log files. This includes your IP address, referring website, operating system, web browser, the Site pages you visited and how much time was spent on each page, the date and time of access, and the general region or location of the IP address associated with your device. We use this information to help us design our site to better suit our users’ needs. We may also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website, analyze trends and gather demographic information, and track visitor movements to assist us in identifying visitor preferences. Our site places cookies and web beacons, but it does not track users across the Web. We do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.

Precise location information may be collected both while you are using one of our mobile applications and continuously over time while our apps are not in use but are running in the background of your device. You can withdraw your consent to the further collection and use of your precise device location data through any of our mobile apps by accessing your device’s privacy settings as further explained below.

Presenting Organizations: Some performances at Segerstrom Center for the Arts are presented by other organizations. Personal information collected by Segerstrom Center for the Arts when you purchase tickets for these performances may be provided to the third party presenting organization.
Third Party Distributors: Personal information collected by Segerstrom Center for the Arts may be shared with third party distributors for the purpose of fulfilling a transaction. For example, if you purchase VIP package tickets, we may need to share personal information with a third party distributor for the purpose of sending you VIP package merchandise.
5. Your Choices Regarding Personal Data
You have choices regarding how we use your personal data. We respect your choices and attempt to honor them whenever possible. We allow you to opt-out of email, postal, and telephone marketing at your discretion. You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.
We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). International Data Transfers
The personal data you provide to us is being transmitted to us and processed in the United States and by our affiliates and their service providers in jurisdictions where we or they operate. Your personal data will be protected subject to this privacy notice and contracts that impose data protections as required by the country where your data was collected. 8. Children’s Privacy
We are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Our Sites are not directed to children under the age of 13. While we do collect personal information about children in relation to enrollment in our summer camps, ABT Gillespie School, and the School of Dance & Music. We do not collect the information from the children themselves. All of our enrollment forms must be filled out by a parent or guardian and must be submitted with the appropriate parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. If we receive personal information that we discover was provided by a child under the age of 13, we will promptly destroy such information.
